During this time she was also served as the Editor for the school’s newspaper, "The Bells".
Bernal pairs her writing career with a background in Marketing and Creative Design, giving her a unique perspective and understanding of business and life.
Bernal's writing inspiration stemmed from the birth of her twin daughters, Sienna and Sierra, who are the only known set of twins in the world, in which one of them is a Primordial Dwarf. Aside from being an author, Bernal is also a certified personal trainer and consultant in the fitness industry.
It is Bernal's hope that others would be inspired and educated through her writings, and believes that everyone has the ability to do great things, once they allow themselves to see that 'what makes them unique, can be what makes them great'.
