Children’s Chapter books are priced the same as adult books.

*Pricing above includes proofing and editing, book layout and cover design, and all scans of illustrations and the preparation of FIRST PROOF COPY and PRINTING PROOF COPY to author as well as one final printed copy.  Note all artwork or illustrations not provided by the author are contracted and billed separately as a third party and not included in the above fee schedule. 

***Note:  The Actual Printing of the book is invoiced separately from the preparation fees.  Actual printing costs are outlined in the Project Cost Proposal.

Terms for Billing

Because we provide all base prices and offer “optional features” pricing to you the “Client” up-front, you will have a good idea of your printing costs before any work is started.


The Manuscript Preparation Fee is due in full upon the signing of the Publishing Agreement by the “Client”, along with any listed fees for Copyright / Barcode film / ISBN Numbers if you have elected to use them.

Charges for the printing and shipping of the “Clients” books are to be paid as follows: 


A payment of 50% of the estimated total printing cost is due when the “Client” returns to the “Publisher” the First Proof Copy of the Pre-Press Manuscript.  The “Publisher” then makes any changes requested by the “Client” and the corrected Pre-Press Manuscript is sent to the printing department who will then prepare a Printing Proof Copy of the book to be submitted to the “Client” for final approval.  The remaining balance of 50% is required when the “Client” approves and returns to the “Publisher” the Printing Proof Copy. 


Please keep in mind that each order is a custom order.  Therefore, once the First Proof Copy is approved and returned to the “Publisher” and the “Clients” deposit is made, a cancellation of your order by the “Client” will forfeit your entire deposit.


We accept payment by check or money order only.

Pricing offered in your Project Cost Proposal is good for 60 days from the date of the signatures below.  Pricing on reorders of your published book is then guaranteed for 1 year from the shipping date of your first order.  Consecutive orders beyond that date will be reviewed for a possible price increase as materials/shipping costs may dictate.

Proofs

For authors that are not in the area of our facility and cannot make appointments in person, a $30.00 Proof Processing & Mailing Fee will be assessed to every order to cover the cost of mailing Proofs.


If an author can come to our production office in Spring, Texas to receive proofs, no fees will be incurred.
