Brenda volunteers locally by mentoring students and through motivational speaking engagements at schools and various civic organizations as well as coaching YMCA and city league youth sports in the community. She has been married to Barry for over twenty years and they have two sons and a daughter. Brenda was born in New Orleans and was raised in Jennings, Louisiana.
